How can social media better support the brand identity?

Working with Chicago Market, a community co-op, I developed a set of Instagram covers and posts that better support its brand identity.

Before redesigning, the highlight covers used photos from the album, which could make it hard to capture the content. So I designed a set of icons that align with the branding design of the market, using the colors from the identity guide. We also briefed the title of each highlight for better readability.

Uptown Farmer’s Market is a sister project produced by Chicago Market. It inherits the yellow color from the Chicago Market while having its own logo and branding. So when I designed the promotion posts for the vendors attending Uptown Farmer’s Market, I utilized the shape of leaves from the logo and the main color, which is green and yellow, to distinguish it from the Chicago Market. The deliverable includes a PSD template for future editing and a set of 21 posts.
